Ho Wah

Love & enjoy going here for a wee lunchtime meal with my sons. Staff are lovely friendly very welcoming. Always been a good environment when we have been in. Not had to wait about seated & served very quickly too. The portions are huge but the food is delicious. Could eat their starters spring rolls forever definitely one to order & try out. My eldest is Gluten Free & they always always adapt his meal for him at no extra cost so we can all enjoy a family Chinese meal together. Love this place can't recommend iy high enough.

I can’t give this restaurant any less than 10 out of 10 , we have been using now for 8 yrs or more and have switched round other local and beyond takeaways now and then but have now settled with Ho Wah and go no where else 99% of the time the food is perfectly cooked and as king prawn curry is a favourite of mine this restaurant can cook prawns how there were meant to be cooked every time. We use it around every 2 weeks and they never fail ,Eamonn and the staff are polite and helpful , very clean I honestly can not recommend this restaurant high enough and at my age I have tried a few but even though it’s a 24 ml round trip this is only one we use . I don’t use the delivery service myself but have met them while collecting my meals and find them good friendly pleasant guys. For me as long as the standards stay as they are my self and extended family will continue to use this excellent restaurant , well done Ho Wah . Oh and there prices are good so that’s a bonus in these times 2024 much better value than the chip shops. Stephen.

I have to say I personally haven’t had a bad meal yet from the ho wah. Always get delivery and they are pretty good with delivery time. Tried their breaded butterfly prawns and they were delicious just would say don’t put the salad leaves in as it made them bit soggy from the water off lettuce.

Considerate service. Family friendly. Clean facilities. Very tasty food. We ordered one round of soft drinks, 3 children's 2 course meals, and a set meal for two. Came to just under £65. Considering the quality and quantity that arrived with the great service it was well worth it. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We needed a nice quick meal after a day out and before we dropped off a member of our group to the airport. We chose the set menu for 4. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. They brought the food quickly. The starter selection was very tasty & generous. The main courses equally so. I'm glad we weren't all flying out that night as we had a lot of food still to take home! The meal was excellent value working out at £15.50 per person - and more than enough for a second meal out of it for 3!

They do thee most beautiful chicken fried rice with gravy. Always my favourite. Staff are always friendly. Option of sitting in or taking away. Have been to birthday parties in here and they have always so accommodating.
